What is the difference with collaborative law?
Collaborative law is a structured form of negotiation in which each party is assisted by their lawyer, committed to finding a solution without referring the matter to the judge. Maître Cora Maglo is trained in it.
Is mediation suitable when there are children?
Yes, particularly. It makes it possible to organise the residence, the right of access and the contribution to maintenance in the child’s interest, while preserving a workable relationship between the parents.
Does mediation replace the lawyer?
No. The lawyer supervises the agreement, checks its balance and validity, and translates it into enforceable instruments. Amicable tools complement the lawyer’s advice, they do not replace it.
What happens if mediation fails?
If no overall agreement is reached, the contentious route remains open. The firm then represents you in a divorce for irretrievable breakdown of the marital relationship, protecting your interests.
